(VNF) - The Safe and Clean Agricultural Products Fair 2017 will be held in Can Tho province from August 19-23.

The event, jointly organized by the People’s Committee of Can Tho province and the Can Tho Investment Trade Promotion Center, aims to promote economic and cultural development between Vietnam’s provinces and APEC countries, as part of the high-level policy dialogue on food security and sustainable agriculture in response to climate change.

The Safe and Clean Agricultural Products Fair will provide valuable opportunity for enterprises, organizations in and out of the country to bring their hi-quality agricultural products to new market, as well as develop the connection between producers and suppliers of clean and safe products with distribution systems among APEC members.

The trade fair is also an opportunity to promote the potential of Can Tho province in terms of tourism (source: chonoicairang.com.vn)

The trade fair is also a chance to promote the image of Can Tho province as a clean, green, beautiful tourism destination, and a bustling trade hub of the Mekong Delta.

According to Can Tho provincial authorities, the fair will see the participation of more than 300 booths, representing international and domestic enterprises, including food, beverage processors as well as farming equipments, fertilizers, pesticides, seed, cattle suppliers.

It will also include seminar and discussion on global standards for clean agricultural products, application of technology, safe agricultural products, chaired by agriculture experts and specialist from High Quality Vietnamese Product Association.

The Clean and Safe Agricultural Product Fair 2017 will take place in the Can Tho Investment Trade Promotion Center and the Exhibition Fair Center, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City, from August 19-23./.
