(VNF) – The low-cost carrier Vietjet Air will operate a new domestic route linking Ho Chi Minh city to Chu Lai in Quang Nam province from May 27th, 2015.

The flight will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 7:45am and arrive in Chu Lai at 9:00am every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, said the airlines on March 18th.

The return flight will depart from Chu Lai at 9:35am and land in Ho Chi Minh city at 10:50am. One-way flight time is one hour and 15 minutes.

Vietjet Air’s new domestic route launch aims to boost tourism and economic development in Chu Lai – a key connecting point between dynamic Da Nang city and potential Dung Quat economic zone. The carrier also hopes to enhance the tourism potential and trade relations between Quang Nam and other major cities around the country.

To celebrate the launch of the new domestic route, Vietjet Air is giving away thousands tickets from just VND9,000 from March 19th to 26th, 2015.

Customers can avail themselves of this promotion (excluding public holidays) from 12 noon to 2:00pm everyday (Vietnam time). The promotion is also applied to other routes, including Ho Chi Minh city – Taipei, Ho Chi Minh city – Dong Hoi, and Hanoi – Quy Nhon./.
