On June 19^th, a delegation from the Vietnam – Cambodia Friendship Association led by Vu Vuong Viet, Former Head of the Cambodia Department under the Party Central Committee Commission of External Relations, Former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the External Relations Agencies, and Standing Deputy President of the Association paid a tribute to Samdech Akeak Moha Thomak Pothisal Chea Sim, President of the Cambodian People's Party and President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia who had passed away.

The tribute was solemnly held at the Cambodian Embassy in Vietnam.

On behalf of the association, Vu Vuong Viet was moved to write on the funeral book: “The Central Committee of the Vietnam – Cambodia Friendship Association respectfully pays its last tribute to Samdech Akeak Moha Thomak Pothisal Chea Sim, President of the Cambodian People's Party and President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia. We offered our deep condolence to Cambodian people and your family”./.
