Vietnam won third place after defeating Laos one-nil at the Japan-Mekong U15 Football Exchange 2015 in Japan, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) announced on Saturday.

Vietnam won third place after defeating Laos one-nil at the Japan-Mekong U15 Football Exchange 2015 in Japan, said the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) on July 4th.

Vietnam ranks third in Japan-Mekong U15 football event

Vietnam dominated the match and scored the goal at the last minutes of the first half .

Meanwhile the U15 Japan team won 2-nil over Sanfrecce Hiroshima team in the final match, becoming the champion.

The best Vietnamese players at the event will be selected to the national U16 team for the 2015 ASEAN U16 Football Championships in Cambodia in late July and then in the qualifying round of the 2015 Asian U16 Football Championships./.
