The 16^th Vinh Phuc provincial Party Committee Congress, tenure 2015-2020, will be held from October 14^th to 16^th, 2015 with the participation of 348 delegates, representing for 63,000 party members.

This was released in a press conference co-organized by the Vinh Phuc provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Popularization and Education and the Department of Information and Communications, on October 1^st.

The congress, themed “Improving the leadership capacity of the Party Committee, promoting democracy, enhancing solidarity and mobilizing every resource to strive to build Vinh Phuc into a centrally-governed city”, will propose directions, targets, duties and solutions for the 2015-2020 period.

The congress will elect 51 members to the provincial Party Executive Committee, 15 members to the provincial Standing Board, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Party Executive Committee and 11 members to the Commission of Inspection.

A delegation of 18 official members and one alternate member will be elected to attend the 12^th National Party Congress.

As of June 29^th, 2015, all of 642 party committees at the grassroots level completed organizing congresses. Staff for executive committees were elected with a large number of votes, ensuring standard, direction and structure as scheduled./.
