Frigate H.T.M.S. TACHIN (FFG 471) of the Royal Thai Navy arrived at Da Nang port in the central city of Da Nang on December 31, starting a four-day visit to Vietnam, according to the Vietnam News.

The Thai delegation is led by the vessel’s captain Colonel Smitnat Kunnavatana.
The vessel sails with a 136-man crew, has a storage displacement of 3,700 tonnes, a maximum speed of 30 knots/hour and a range of 4,000 nautical miles.
While in Da Nang, the ship’s crew will pay a courtesy visit to the High Command of Naval Region 3 and make sightseeing trips to several scenic areas and historical relics in the city./.
