Part 4: Wishes and Plans for Prosperity

Vietnamese people living far from their homeland always want to send their wishes and plans to contribute to the happiness, prosperity, and unity of the country. Our compatriots abroad have shared their thoughts with the Vietnam Times.

Four issues need immediate attention:

First, in education and training, it is necessary to separate two models, which are research universities, universities and vocational training colleges. Vocational training is also divided into two parts: 1. Training of highly skilled human resources (meeting international working standards), 2. Short and medium-term vocational training with sufficient skills and have understanding of certain culture and language, meet the human resources working at FDI enterprises, supporting industrial enterprises.

Secondly, attracting overseas businessmen, experts and intellectuals to come to Vietnam to work and dedicate.

Third, the government - the school - high-quality human resources - the development of science and technology - enterprises must always be a bridge and have a reciprocal and close relationship.

Fourth, the national innovative startup ecosystem needs to be formed more completely, with good connections to global accelerators, and experienced instructors. Consulting, assessment, appraisal, evaluation and technology transfer service organizations are encouraged to form and develop in association with international units that are suitable for Vietnam.
