Israel & Vietnam Folk Harmony
The Israeli folk dance troupe Hora Shemesh will have its first performance in Vietnam with its dancing combining traditional and modern acts. Hora Shemesh uses a large number of dancers, beside its colourful costumes and happy music, to paint an interesting pictures of Israeli culture and life. Its main theme are family love, humor, happiness, the characters of the Bible.
The event in Hanoi also will have a performance by Vietnam’s first all-bamboo ensemble Suc Song Moi (The New Vitality). It is the only bamboo ensemble in Vietnam that performs its symphonicly orchestrated repertoire purily with bamboo music instruments. It was established in 2013 by the young conductor Dong Quang Vinh – the principle conductor of the Vietnam National Opera & Ballet & Hanoi Voices Choir, who had been trained for nine years in Shanghai Conservatory of Music – China.
Conducted by Vinh, this time, Suc Song Minh will bring new soul to classical, Trinh Cong Son and Tay Nguyen music with its traditional instruments.
Ticket for the 25 August event can be picked up at the Office hall of Hanoi Tower, 49 Hai Ba Trung street, Hanoi, from 10:00 to 14:00 on August 21-23. A maximum allocation of 04 tickets per person is applied.
Hora Shemesh will have a second show in Vietnam on August 29 in Lao Cai city with the participation of the Lao Cai Ethnic art group./.
