Promote Connection of Hai Phong SMEs and Singaporean Partners

At the reception, Joe Tan said SVIV wants to learn about the market and connect with business partners in Vietnam. SVIV expects to organize a working group including representatives of Singaporean small and medium-sized enterprises to work in provinces and cities in Vietnam, including Hai Phong, in mid-May 2024, thereby strengthening the search for cooperation opportunities between the two sides.
According to Tran Van Dang, President of the Vietnam - Singapore Friendship Association of Hai Phong, Hai Phong is a booming city. It has the potential to cooperate with Singapore in technology, transportation, tourism, and healthcare. Hai Phong businesses hope that Singaporean partners will support experience sharing and vocational training, thereby contributing to improving the quality of highly skilled labor resources in the city.

According to Nguyen Duc Hung, Vice President, General Secretary of the Vietnam - Singapore Friendship Association, VSFA has been and will continue to act as a bridge to connect SVIV with partners in Vietnam.
The two sides agreed to maintain exchange and coordination towards signing a Working Minute between the Vietnam - Singapore Friendship Association and SVIV and a Memorandum of Understanding of cooperation between the Vietnam - Singapore Friendship Association of Hai Phong City and SVIV in the coming time.
