Vice President of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association receives PM's certificate of appreciation

Authorized by the Prime Minister, the certificate was presented to Mr. Phuc by Nguyen Xuan Thang, Central Party committee member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, President of the Vietnam China Friendship Association (VCFA).

The certificate of appreciation by the Prime Minister is meant to acknowledge significant contribution of Mr. Phuc in reinforcing friendship and cooperation between people of two countries.

Nguyen Xuan Thang, President of VCFA took the ocassion to showed his concern about the Vice President's health, expressing his thankfulness and highly appreciated the precious contribution Phuc has made in fostering the friendship and partnership between two countries, particularly in people-to-people diplomacy.

Recalling the memories of the past, Thang and other members of VCFA highlighted the enthusiasm, dynamism and creativeness of Phuc in fostering the friendship between Vietnam and China.

Vice President of VUFO Bui Khac Son for his part, extended best wishes to Mr Phuc, especially for his speedy recovery.

For his part, Vice President Bui Hong Phuc extended his sincere thank to VUFO and the VCFA for presenting him the honor, on behalf of the Prime Minister.

His family members expressed delight and honor to witness this prestigious certificate.

Mr. Bui Hong Phuc was born in 1935, alumnus of the Peking University.

Phuc served as the Ambassador of Vietnam to China tenure 1997-2002, and has been the Vice President of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association since 2007./.
