Telemor is a brand of Viettel Timor-Leste, a subsidiary of Viettel Global which has invested successfully in nine countries across three continents, including East Timor. The 4G services provided for Timor-Leste are quite unique as Viettel has offered its first ever 4G devices developed by itself.
Earlier, the 4G services of Viettel in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Burundi, Peru, and Haiti markets have demonstrated advantages in developing E-Gov, E-commerce, E-citizen services, among others.
Experts said that with the capacity of more than 36,000 4G Base Transceiver Stations (BTS), Viettel may bring Vietnam to the top 20 countries with most modern 4G infrastructure and largest coverage of 4G services to its population.

Currently, Viettel is using 4TX/4RX beam-forming technique, which is far superior than the more popular 2TX/2RX technique used for providing 4G services. At present, no more than 10% of service providers in the world are using 4TX/4RX beam-forming technique.
The inauguration of 4G services in Timor-Leste is the very first step in response to the “Vietnames consumers prioritize Vietnamese goods” campaign which calls for the participation of Vietnamese people in general and Vietnam’s telecommunications company in particular./.
