38 Laotian in Kon Tum granted Vietnamese citizenship

Ministry of Justice and Kon Tum People’s Committee co-hosted the ceremony to give Vietnamese citizenship pursuant the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam’s Decision to 17 people in Dac Glei district in May 21. They were the Laotian crossed the border to immigrate to Vietnam or had marriage without certificates with Vietnamese live in the border region.
They now settle in 11 hamlets in 3 villages: Dak Long, Dak Mon and Dak Nhoong of Dak Glei district.
The citizenship ceremony are planned to be held in May 22 by Ministry of Justice and Kon Tum People’s Committee in Ngoc Hoi district for 21 inpiduals in 7 hamlets in 3 villages: Dak Duc, Dak Nong and Bo Y of Ngoc Hoi district.
In accordance with the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam’s Decision No. 561 dated April 3, 2019, 38 people reside in 18 hamlets in 6 villages of Dak Glei and Ngoc Hoi district, Kon Tum province acquire Vietnamese citizenship./.
