5 universities in New Zealand facilitate Vietnamese students' direct application

Currently, direct application are avaible in University of Canterbury, Waikato, Massey, Wellington and Otago.
In details, to be eligible to apply for University of Canterbury, University of Waikato and University of Massey, candidates' highschool average score must be at least 8/10.
For English language requirement, the students must get the minimum score of 6.0 overall (no band less than 6.0) or equivalent certificate. If the candidates do not meet the admission requirement, they can pursue a pre-degree programme in the university.
Meanwhile, the University of Wellington requires the students to achieve a minimum average score of 8.0 for class 12 (for students graduated in 2016 and later years). For those graduated in 2015 and earlier, the candidates must achieve a minimum average score of 7.0, and have completed the first year in college, or have the graduation score of 8.0.
University of Otago permits direct application for students from 11 schools, which are Hanoi - Amsterdam, Nguyen Hue highschool, Hanoi Highschool for the Gifted in Science, Kim Lien highschool (Hanoi); Le Hong Phong highschool for the Gifted, HCMC Highschool for the Gifted (HCMC National University), Tran Dai Nghia highschool for the Gifted (HCMC); Le Quy Don highschool for the Gifted, Nguyen Thuong Hien highschool for the Gifted (Da Nang)./.
