Vinfast hands over the first 650 cars to customers

For Vietnam, the Fadil comes standard with a 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 73kW at 6200rpm, and 128Nm at 4400rpm. It is connected to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission.

Measuring 3676mm long, 1632mm wide, 1495mm tall, and riding on a 2385mm wheelbase, the Fadil should be compact enough navigate through some of the country's more crowded thoroughfares.

Available features include six airbags, electronic brake force distribution, traction and stability control, roll-over mitigation, and hill start assist.

The Vinfast Fadil is now priced at VND394.5 million (US$17,000), inclusive of valued added tax. Starting September 1, its price will be about VND465 million. Deliveries of the Fadil begin this week, and the car has been available for test drives since the beginning of June.
