Aeon Mall Long Bien opens in Hanoi
Japan’s AEON Group officially opened Aeon Mall Long Bien, the first shoppimall of its trademark in Hanoi, on November 3rd.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa and Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Fukada Hiroshi.
Aeon Mall Long Bien is located in Long Bien district, about 5 kilometers from the centre of Vietnam’s capital. Covering 96,000 square meters with a total floor area of 120,000 square meters, it is the third Aeon shopping mall in Vietnam.

Construction of the project began in April 2014, with a total capital of USD200 million. The four-floor mall is designed for 180 retail outlets in categories such as trade center, hotel, restaurant, cinema, leisure center as well as office space for lease or rent and an area exclusively for sports. .
In his speech at the event, Mr. Fukada Hiroshi expressed his happiness with the Vietnamese government’s creating conditions for AEON Group to build and put Aeon Mall Long Bien into operation.
“With friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful staff as well as Japanese-oriented hospitality, Aeon Mall Long Bien is expected to satisfy customers,” he added./.
