Ambassador Pham Hung Tam welcomed Dr. Tran Phi Vu, Chairman of the Vietnam Innovation Network in Australia and Lecturer at the University of New South Wales at the Embassy headquarter on October 31,
During the meeting, Dr. Tran Phi Vu reported on the notable activities of the Vietnam Innovation Network in Australia since its inception in December 2019, including international conferences and science and technology exhibitions from 2021 to 2024. The Network's initiatives are progressively becoming a vital link among the community of experts, intellectuals, and Vietnamese scientists both domestically and internationally.
Tran Phi Vu has also conveyed his eagerness to collaborate with the Embassy to further enhance the significant endeavors of the Network and to broaden the linkage between Australia and Vietnam in domains pertinent to sustainable development and technology. Tran Phi Vu also presented the publication titled "2021-2023 Journey of Vietnamese Agriculture - Smart, Sustainable, Circular, Green, Efficient, Reduced Emissions".
Ambassador Pham Hung Tam expressed high regard for the Vietnam Innovation Network's connective initiatives in Australia. He acknowledged Tran Phi Vu's significant contribution as the Association's Chairman over the past four years. The Ambassador is confident that the Network will keep evolving, offering a wealth of varied activities and fostering stronger ties. This will draw numerous Vietnamese professionals and scholars in Australia, thereby making significant contributions to the Vietnam-Australia relationship and aiding in the advancement of science and technology in Vietnam.
