Ba Trieu site is a cultural and historical work to commemorate great contribution of Vietnam’s heroine, Trieu Thi Trinh, who raised a rebellion against Ngo invaders in the third century.
This spiritual architectural work has been restored, retaining original features during different historical periods in the same intricate manner as other such relics like Phu Dien communal house.
The Ba Trieu relic site encompasses Ba Trieu temple and Phu Dien communal house.
The Ba Trieu temple festival is scheduled to be held from April 9th to 11th (from the 21st day to 23rdday of the second lunar month). The festival, as a part of the 2015 National Tourism Year in Thanh Hoa province, will feature a series of rites and traditional activities./.
