Blood Donation Day to mark Nelson Mandela Day in Hanoi

On the occasion of 10 year anniversary of the proclamation from the United Nations General Assembly admitting Mandela's birthday, July 18, as "Nelson Mandela Day", marking his contribution to the anti-apartheid struggle, Meliá Hanoi is collaborating with South African Embassy Hanoi and Vietnam National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to raise donations for the Vietnamese Blood Bank, for those who suffer from blood disorders.
This event aims to encourage people to donate blood regularly in order to ensure the sufficiency of blood stock, also underlines the role of every single inpidual in the blood transfusion activity, especially when emergencies happen.
Benefits you will have when donating blood including free health check-up and consultancy; free blood test and result (confidentially): blood type, HIV, HBV, HCV, etc. and free coffee break with snacks from the hotel.
After the donation, you can receive Blood Donation Certificate, which verifies the blood units donated and helps the donor reimburse an equal amount when he/she needs.
