Bus route 119 from Tan Son Nhat airport launched
A 15-kilometer bus route (No.119) linking Tan Son Nhat airport to Western (Mien Tay) coach station was launched by the Ho Chi Minh city Department of Transport on September 15th.
The non-subsidized bus route operates from 04h00 to 21h30 with a frequency of 25-30 minutes and travel time of about 65 minutes.
Trips of less than five kilometers are priced at VND12,000 (USD0.53) per trip, while passengers riding more than five kilometers must pay VND20,000 per trip (USD0.89).

The outbound journey covers: Tan Son Nhat airport’s (international arrival terminal and domestic arrival terminal) - Truong Son - Tran Quoc Hoan - Cha Ca royal tomb - Hoang Van Thu - Xuan Dieu - Xuan Hong - Truong Chinh - Ly Thuong Kiet - Bac Hai - Thanh Thai - Nguyen Tri Phuong - Nguyen Chi Thanh - Nguyen Thi Nho - Hong Bang - Kinh Duong Vuong - Western coach station.
Meanwhile, the return journey covers: Mien Tay coach station - Kinh Duong Vuong - Hong Bang - Nguyen Thi Nho - Nguyen Chi Thanh - Nguyen Tri Phuong - Thanh Thai - Bac Hai - Ly Thuong Kiet - Hoang Van Thu - Phan Dinh Giot - Truong Son - Tan Son Nhat airport’s international arrival terminal.
Earlier, in March and May 2016, the city Department of Transport put two bus routes connecting Tan Son Nhat airport with the city downtown into operation./.
