Charming terraced fields in mountainous district
The highland district of Mu Cang Chai in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai has become a very famous destination for domestic and foreign tourists with terraced fields ranked as national tourism scenery.
Due to limited sources of land for rice cultivation, local residents have only mountain sides to create fields. In a new crop with premature rice, Mu Cang Chai appears as a vivid and wonderful natural picture.
Coming to Mu Cang Chai in summer, tourists have a chance to discover an attractive picture.

When there is rain, farmers start to lead the water to the fields.
