He also revealed that Vice Premier Liu He would come to Washington for trade talks with the US after Chinese National Day holiday and showed his wish that two countries would explore the resolution for the conflict “we believe this will benefit both countries’ people and the world”.

In addition, the Chinese government’s top diplomat on Friday (September 27) had considered that tariffs and trade conflicts might harm the global economy, therefore, China hoped to deal with the Sino – US trade war in a “calm, rational and cooperative manner”.

The recent steps of both the US could close the door of the trade dispute between two countries in over one year.

In particular, the US President Donald Trump had said the trade deal with China could be held sooner than people think on September 25.

He asserted that “right now, China is way behind us, and they’ll never catch us if we have smart leadership. We've picked up trillions dollars, and they’ve lost trillions of dollars. And they want to make a deal very badly and it could happen sooner than you think”.

Furthermore, the US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer shared his opinion “at this stage what you want to do is have confidence building and show goodwill, and I think ... we’re doing that. The president wants a deal if he can get a good deal. If he doesn’t ... we have a tariff policy in place”.

China had also imported agriculture products from the US, as Trump had stressed “China is starting to buy our agricultural product again. They’re starting to go with the beef and all of the different things, pork, very big on pork”.

The new round of the US and China high – level talks was supposed to occur on October 10-11 after the phone call between two countries in earlier September which China’s Ministry of Commerce had said on its website “both sides agreed that they should work together and take practical actions to create good conditions for consultations”.

The spokesman of the US Representative office confirmed that the US and China “agreed to hold meetings at the ministerial level in Washington in the coming weeks that the high – level trade talks of the two countries will be held after having talks in mid – September “to lay the ground work for meaningful progress”.

The economic tension between the two world powers had been a fire of the tariff row, especially, the US had even increased 15% on China’s goods and China revenged by imposing tariff on the crude oil from the US.

The dispute was also on the peak as Trump warned over using Emergency Economic Power Act to force the US’s giant companies to come back to their homeland.

Meanwhile, China had suffered from the trade dispute when its exports decreased in August due to the pressure of the US.
