Particularly, APEC community pays special attention to lifting up the education qualification of disadvantaged group – the strategy which has proved its effectiveness in promoting social and economic growth and stability. Without the supports for women and young girls in education and training as well as gender equality, APEC members cannot achieve sustainable GDP growth.

In order to foster investment in human capital, APEC community is continuing to carry out its action plans, step by step striving to hit the goal of 1 million students being exchanged each year by 2020. The program will focus on: granting scholarships for students, organizing workshop for female entrepreneurs, foster training in financial service and making IT work-support application accessible for more employees./.
