Da Nang airport declared best in Vietnam for service quality
The Da Nang international airport has secured first position in Vietnam in terms of providing the best service quality, according to a survey of 6,000 passengers in the April – September period, conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).

The survey was conducted at Vietnam’s three largest international airports of Noi Bai (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City) and Da Nang, which were measured on a scale of 1 to 5.
Da Nang international airport finished with a total score of 4.24, followed by Noi Bai airport with 4.11 points and Tan Son Nhat airport with 4.01 points.
The survey evaluated passengers’ satisfaction according to 25 criteria in seven areas of each airport, including the departure terminal area, the check-in area, the security check area, the entry and exit areas, the boarding lounge, the arrival terminal area, and the public transport area.
The 25 criteria for evaluation included the attitude and service quality of passenger check-in officers, wifi quality, way-finding and signing guidelines, departure lounge spaces, and taxi availability and prices, among others.
The survey showed that the attitude of passenger check-in officers at the three airports was ranked first with 4.34 points, but the wifi quality ranked bottom with 3.75 points./.
