As planned, by 2020, the project targets the formation of some 50-60 young businesses in technology and communications and the service sectors; build up a creative playground to help generate creative ideas amongst young people and develop a start-up-business television channel for others.
The city will focus on raising students’ awareness on starting business by sharing knowledge and experience from young and successful entrepreneurs; providing them the orientation information of enterprises and business markets in perse areas so that young people can choose for themselves a suitable way of starting a business.
Under the project, the city expects to link social resources in assisting young people in starting business, increase solutions for sustainable development among small- and medium-sized enterprises and contribute to developing high quality human resources for the region.
In the past, perse activities have been held to assist young people to start businesses but they have not proven very effective or established a starting point to develop a young generation of business people.
According to the city People’s Committee, a labour survey conducted in 2013 showed that over 51% of unemployed in the city were in the ages of 15-29; and a majority of enterprises in the city (nearly 99%) were of a small or medium size./.
