Danish Education Minister visits Vietnam
Danish Minister of Education Christine Antorini will pay an official visit to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city from March 4th - 6th.
Focus for the visit will be on political consultations followed by meetings and seminars between the 20 strong Danish delegation from different edcational institutions and representatives of Vietnamese educational institutions, aiming at facilitating and further enhancing cooperation in education.
“The main purpose of my visit to Vietnam is to further strengthen the close cooperation within education between Vietnam and Denmark at the ministerial level and to facilitate concrete partnerships and cooperation between Vietnamese and Danish educational institutions,” says Ms. Christine Antorini.
“Danish educational institutions have a strong tradition and position providing education and learning of unique international standards. There is a perfect match between the current challenges and needs here in Vietnam and the unique Danish strongholds on vocational educational training, upper secondary business colleges, technical colleges and other areas,” concludes Danish Minister of Education Ms. Christine Antorini.
In the comprehensive partnership agreement between Vietnam and Denmark, education was considered an important priority in the future cooperation between the two countries./.
