Decree No. 82/2015/ND-CP: Visa exemption for overseas Vietnamese visitors
Decree No. 82/2015/ND-CP on visa exemptions for Vietnamese people and foreigners who are spouses and children of Vietnamese people settling abroad or of Vietnamese nationality has recently issued by the Vietnamese Government.
As a rule, visa exemptions must meet the following conditions: having a passport or international travel papers that are valid for at least one year and the subject must have submitted identification papers to authorized agencies abroad.
In addition, the visa exemptions do not belong to inpidual cases, which are not permitted entry and exit pursuant to Article 21 and Article 28 of the Law on Entry, exit, transit and residence of foreigners in Vietnam.
Visa exemption papers, valid for a maximum of five years, will be attached into passports or issued separately from the passports./.
