Fair displaying Vietnamese furniture to be held in Hanoi

(VNF) - Saigon Furniture and Home Furnishing Fair (Vifa Home) 2015 will be held from August 6th-9th at the National Exhibition Construction Center, in Hanoi.

This information was released in a brief pressing, co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh city Handicraft and Wood Industry Association, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture and Salt and the Vietnam Wood and Forestry Association on May 12^th, in Hanoi.

According to the organising board, the event is expected to attract the participation of 110 enterprises nationwide, with 418 kiosks on display.

Products exhibited at Vifa Home 2015 include indoor and outdoor furniture; furniture for the office, restaurants and hotels; products for interior decoration, architectural consulting services and construction design.

Statistics by the Ho Chi Minh city Handicraft and Wood Industry Association showed that export value of wood and wood products in the first quarter reached USD1.52 billion, a year-on-year rise of 5.5%. Of this, the export of wood products were valued at USD1.07 billion, a 9.9% increase against the same period last year./.
