This year’s Book Day is held in association with the 90th anniversary of the publication of President Ho Chi Minh’s “Duong Cach Menh” (The Revolutionary Path).

The annual event aims to encourage and nurture the reading culture of young people while raising the public awareness of the significance of books not only as a source of knowledge, but as a way to develop one’s thought and personality.

The event is also a chance to appreciate efforts of those who are involved in book publishing such as book collectors, writers, publishers and distributors./.
