Global competition for Vietnamese entrepreneurs VietChallenge 2019 calls for application
VietChallenge 2019, the Global Entrepreneurship Competition for Vietnamese was recently kick started by the Association of Vietnamese Students in the US and the Hanoi Youth Union.
According to the organizing committee, the 9-month journey of VietChallenge 2019 aims to find out the competition champion, who will receive a reward worth USD 25,000. The first runner-up of VietChallenge will receive USD 5,000. There are also four third-place prizes of US$2,000 each to be given out.
Being part of the competition, Vietnamese start-up will have the chance to build valuable relationship with credible investment funds, start-up incubators and angel investors network in Vietnam and abroad.
Similar to previous seasons, participating teams that enter the Semi-final round will be benefited from a Mentorship Program (1-1). The mentors, who are US experts in fields such as computer science, artificial intelligence, automotive robot, big data, will provide assistance to participating team in dealing with difficulties they may encounter during the competition.

Registration for VietChallenge 2019 opened from November 15.
The three previous seasons of VietChallenge have made immense impression on the public, and was well received by Vietnamese entrepreneurs around the world, with over 500 applications from 21 countries, total value of reward hit USD 100,000 (over VND 2.3 billion).
With the mission of realizing business ideas, particularly to deal with challenges facing the Vietnamese economy during the 4.0 industrial revolution, VietChallenge has been unceasingly connecting Vietnamese startups with experts in US and offer them the best business case studies to prepare for success in international business world./.
