Hai Duong youth join tree planting festival

A ceremony was organized on February 22nd at Chi Linh high school in Chi Linh district, Hai Duong province, to launch Youth Month and the tree planting festival 2016 to protect the environment, with the participation of 1,000 youth union members.

The Youth Month 2016 of Hai Duong youth focuses on the environment and volunteering, social welfare, occupation and activities to welcome the anniversary day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26th. This is an opportunity for youth unions at all levels to implement their citizenship responsibilities, contributing their youthful strength and enthusiasm to build the province and the country.

On this occasion, the Hai Duong Young Business Association offered support of VND300 million and Tien Trung Company Limited offered VND160 million, to social activities. Hung Dao Industrial Refractory Bricks Joint Stock Company presented 10 gifts, worth VND5 million, to poor students with good academic results.

After the ceremony, 500 trees were planted at Chi Linh high school and youth volunteered to ensure security, order and protect the environment at Con Son - Kiep Bac festival./.
