Hai Phong Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center set up

Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc has decided to set up a promotion center for investment, trade and tourism in Hai Phong city.

Located at No.18 Hoang Dieu street, Minh Khai precinct, Hong Bang district, the establishment was based on the foundation of re-organizing four organizations, including the Investment Promotion Center under the Managing Board for Hai Phong’s Economic Zones; the Information, Advisory and Investment Promotion Center under the Department of Planning and Investment; the Tourism Promotion Center under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and the Trade Promotion Center under the Department of Industry and Trade.

It is directly under the Hai Phong city People’s Committee and is a public non-business unit which covers part of regular costs with legal entity status, its own seal and may open accounts at the State Treasury and banks to perform in accordance with law.

The PM assigned Head of the Hai Phong city People’s Committee to regulate the function, mission, authority and organizational structure of the center as prescribed by law./.
