Hanoi capital: Diverse activities to celebrate President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday
Hanoi city People’s Committee plans to celebrate the 125th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19th, 1890 - May 19th, 2015).
Accordingly, the anniversary will take place at 9:30 am on May 18th at the National Convention Center, with the participation of 3,500 representatives. It will be held by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam National Assembly, State President, Government, the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front and Hanoi city.
Diverse activities will be held on this occasion, including an exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh, a seminar on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s example in ethics and the publication of a book on Uncle Ho and capital press.
A live program on Uncle Ho’s sentiment will be held on May 18th, 2015 at Hanoi, the central province of Nghe An and Ho Chi Minh.
Art performances praising the Party and President Ho Chi Minh will also be organized at the August Revolution Square, Ly Thai To Statue Garden and Thang Long royal citadel at night on May 19th.
In addition, art performances and film screenings on Uncle Ho will take place in all 30 districts and town to serve the local people.
The city has also upgraded several revolutionary historical relics related to life and career of President Ho Chi Minh in districts and Son Tay town./.
