Ho Chi Minh city will collect taxes for online sales starting April
Ho Chi Minh city, the commercial hub of Vietnam, has plan to begin collect online sales taxes starting April.
A plan for collecting online sales tax has just been completed by the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department and is expected to be submitted to the City People's Committee in early April.
However, according to the HCMC Tax Department, not all Facebook businesses have to pay taxes, but will be classified as: businesses with Facebook pages as an additional marketing methods, Facebook pages of inpiduals with high sales and "amateur" business.
Accordingly, the tax office will check whether the business has fully declared taxes, and target only to Facebook pages with large sales and not yet taxes declaration./.
