“Hoi Yen Dieu Tri Cung” ritual festival opens in Tay Ninh

The “Hoi Yen Dieu Tri Cung” ritual festival took has took place in Cao Dai Holy See in Tay Ninh province.

The deputies from the Central agencies; the Government’s Committee for Religious Affairs; local authorities; religious organizations of Japan, Taiwan (China), Malaysia, Singapore and thousands of Cao Dai followers and people nationwide attended the ceremony.

“Hoi Yen Dieu Tri Cung” is a great religious banquet for the Great Mother and nine female immortals of the Dieu Tri Palace, held annually on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. Cao Dai followers believe the banquet enables them to achieve their goal of liberating themselves from the cycle of birth and death.

Participants of the two-day event enjoyed communal and religious activities such as worshipping and peace praying ceremonies and gift presentations to children on the occasion of the mid-Autumn festival./.
