From June 12 to 14, a training course on “Home economics management and Time distribution” was held by AFV’s Project Management Board of Quan Ba commune (Ha Giang province) with the participation of Can Ty linen cooperative in which the majority was women from H’Mong ethnic group.

The purpose of this activity was to enhance the basic knowledge of human resource, financial and time management, market research, business and tourism combination as well as documenting the statistics of finance and import-export goods.

Aid for social protection program foundation Vietnam (AFV) is a non-profit organisation operated under the permit of Vietnamese law. AFV works to eradicate hunger, reduce poverty, create more employment opportunities and implement community development programmes to support the poor, the disable, vulnerable people, especially poor, ethnic minority women and children in Vietnam.

AFV was established from initial capital source contributed by its founders. By mobilising voluntary support and donations from inpiduals, local and international organisations, the foundation generates an adequate resource to operate all programmes and activities, which abide with the provisions of Vietnamese law and the foundation’s regulation.
