VNF) - The Central Highlands industry and trade fair 2015 opened on April 24th in Kon Tum province.

The fair is organised every year by provinces in the Central Highlands to promote products with economic, trade, investment and tourism potential in the region and neighboring localities.

About 400 kiosks from more than 200 enterprises in the region and from Laos and Thailand joined the fair. Commodities displayed at the event are building materials, interior and exterior decoration, products group manufactured from heavy industry, light industry, home industry, handicraft and fine art products, pharmaceuticals, fertilizer and machinery.

Specific products of each locality, services, tourism, finance, banking, telecom and insurance are also being shown at the fair.

On the sideline of the event, there are other activities such as a trade conference between enterprises of An Giang and Kon Tum provinces, activities to exchange goods and sign economic contracts and a seminar on trade promotion in the Central region and Central Highlands.

The fair will close on April 30th./.
