Libyan Chargé d'affaires wants to help link up Vietnamese and Libyan Universities
(VNF) - Officers from the Libyan Embassy in Vietnam recently took part in a meeting with lecturers and students of the Division of Arabic language and culture, University of Language and International Studies (ULIS) (Hanoi National University).

The meeting taking place on April 27 welcomed the participation of Chargé d'affaires Salah A.A. Alturki, Counsellor Hatem M.A Makhzoom, and advisor Jamal A.B. Altaleb and other embassy's officers, as well as Vice Rector of ULIS, Ngo Minh Thuy, Vice Head of the Department for Cooperation and Development, Mai Van Hoa and Vice Head of the Division of Arabic language and culture, Le Thi Khuyen.
The meeting's atmosphere was joyful, friendly and dynamic. It gave the students of the Division of Arabic language and culture to raise various interesting questions about Libya, the country and its culture.
Chargé d'affaires Alturki was pleasant to answer all the inquiry, and expressed his hope to foster exchange and cooperation between Libyan Universities and ULIS, to develop the teaching and learning of Arabic language in Vietnam, opening more working and learning opportunity for students in Libya.
Division of Arabic language and culture of ULIS is the sole education unit providing bachelor program in Arabic language in the last 22 years. The school has been maintaining close contacts with embassies of Arabic-speaking countries such as Palestine, Egypt./.
