The Congress voted new Executive Committee with 43 members who have enough ability, intelligence and virtue to implement responsibility the Party Committee and People assigned. Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung was reelected to be Secretary of Party Committee of Tra Vinh city in term 2015-2020. They also voted deputies to attend 10th Party Congress of Provincial Party Committee, term 2015-2020, with 20 official deputies and an alternate one.

The 11th Party Congress of Party Committee of Tra Vinh city, term 2015-2020 ended successfully and voted new Executive Committee for the new term.

Those at the Congress passed targets of Resolutions in new term. General objectives of Party Committee of Tra Vinh city in the new term are to change, enhance leading ability and fighting power of Party Committee of the city and promote the power of great unity, enhance discipline, responsibility of branches, levels, build strong and clean political system; exploit potentials and promote resources to develop economy, solve social security, ensure national defense-security; improve people’s material and mental life; push back social evil, make Tra Vinh city become type II city at the beginning of the new term.

With high responsibility, those at the Congress focused on discussion and passed important documents like political report, criticism report of 10th tenure Executive Committee, Resolution for term 2015-2020; report of ideas for document of 12th National Party Congress and political reports for 10th Part Congress of Provincial Party Committee.

According to political report at the Congress, beside results, Party Committee of Tra Vinh city also saw limitations: achievements in last term were not equal with potential and advantages of the city; socio-economic development direction, administration and planning faced many unsound problems; technical infrastructure, human resource quality were lower then other cities in Mekong river delta; complicated factors still existed in society; enhance leading ability of some Party Committees, and National management effect faced limitations; knowledge of some leaders, managers and scientific cadres could not meet new requirement and tasks./.
