The Hanoi Police on September 6th arrested two people transporting crystal methamphetamine from Lang Son province to Hanoi by Toyota Fortuner.

In the morning, the police stopped and checked a black Toyota Fortuner moving through Ngoc Lam - Nguyen Van Cu T-junction, Long Bien district, Hanoi. Through examination, the police found that Duong Kim Ngan, born in 1981 from Dong Da district, Hanoi and Nguyen Quang Ha, from Lang Son province, were transporting five nylon bags containing over 4.825,66g of crystal methamphetamine, more than VND10 million and some other related objects.

Initially, Ngan confessed that she would be paid VND20 million by an unacquainted man to transport the volumn of drugs from Lang Son province to Hanoi. Then Ngan continued to hire Ha with payment of VND1 million to together transport the drugs to Hanoi.

Notably, they changed the number plate of the Toyota Fortuner many times to avoid the attention of the police.

The case is under further investigation./.
