New health centre brings better-quality services to Tra Vinh’s residents
The visit was to assess achieved results of the project Improving healthcare facilities for women and children at Ward 9, Tra Vinh city, carried out from January 2018 to April 2019.

New health centre brings better-quality services to Tra Vinh’s residents.
The construction of the health clinic was undertaken thanks to a partnership between the Tra Vinh People’s Committee, Hanwha Life Insurance, ChildFund Korea, Aid for social protection program Foundation Vietnam (AFV) and ActionAid Vietnam.
The new Ward 9 Health Clinic includes nine treatment rooms, providing a clean, safe and private facilities for patients, especially women and children coming for medical examination and treatment as well as other services.
According to Hyeong-Jin Lee, Director of ChildFund Korea Seoul Regional Office, by supporting the building of this health centre, ChildFund Korea hopes to improve healthcare for children and their families in Tra Vinh – contributing to lower maternal and infant mortality rates and better access to quality healthcare for all./.
