One more safe bridges for poor communities in Can Tho province

The new bridge, named Hy Vong Bridge 25, supervised by VSF and the Hope Foundation, with the help of local authorities and local people. It is 40m long with a width of 4.5m, a height of 4m and a navigational clearance of 8m.
It will replace makeshìft and outdated one across river throughout this poor area. The bridge will not only help with connectivity in the area, but also provide safer conditions for children to go to school.

This project received a grant of VND 250 million (USD 10,750) from Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (BAC A BANK) on the total investment cost of nearly VND 540 million (USD 23,220). The rest is contributed by the Hope Foundation, local authorities and people.
The Hy Vong 25 Bridge is built at Thanh Loc hamlet will partly contribute to reduce traffic and economic pressures; improve living conditions for more than 250 households; ensure studying and safety for 500 local children./.
