As planned, in 2015, the FPT Group will give 10,000 helmets to pupils across the country. Through the presents, the NTSC aims to raise awareness and create a significant shift in attitude towards obeying laws relating to wearing helmets for children seated on motorbikes.
According to Mr. Hung, at present, 94% of adults wear helmets joining the traffic while only 5% of children follow that example. On average, each year, some 9,000 people die of traffic accidents, including 2,000 children. One of the reasons for traffic accidents is poor observance of traffic laws./.
