The targeted guest workers can look for a recruitment chance at a job fair opened at the Hanoi Employment Service Centre, No. 215, Trung Kinh street, in Hanoi’s Cau Giay district on November 22.
The event is held jointly by the centre in collaboration with the Department of Overseas Labour under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Human Resources Development Service of Korea and the Japan International Manpower Development Organisation (IM Japan).
It targets former Vietnamese employees under the ROK’s Employment Permit System (EPS) programme and IM Japan’s Technical Intern Training programme who have returned home after completing their contracts in the two host countries.
Accordingly, 72 Korean and Japanese-invested enterprises have joined the fair, offering 1,158 working positions, including Korean and Japanese translators, production managers and technical workers, with high incomes starting from VND8-15 million a month.
Statistics show that the demand for recruiting workers with college and university degrees is highest (41.8%) with 485 positions, followed by intermediate-level technical workers (33.3%) with 386 targets, and manual workers at 24.9%, with 287 positions./.
