PCC Commission Head congratulates press agencies
To mark the 91st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21st), Politburo member, Secretary of the PCC and Head of the PCC Commission for Popularization and Education Vo Van Thuong on June 16th visited and congratulated Vietnam Television (VTV), Communist Review, Great Unity Newspaper, and Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

Highly praising the contribution of press agencies and journalists towards the national construction and development, Mr. Thuong said he hoped reporters and editors in press agencies would continue to promote what had been achieved to better the dissemination of Party guidelines and State policies and laws to each citizen, creating a driving force in society as well as consensus in the Party, promoting the great national solidarity, pushing the renewal process and increasing national industrialization and modernization.
On the same day, Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee and Chairwoman of the city People’s Council, led a delegation coming from the city Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front to congratulated cadres, reporters, editors and officers of VOV representative office in Ho Chi Minh city, Giac Ngo newspaper and the city Women newspaper, to celebrate Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
At VOV representative office in Ho Chi Minh city, Ms Tam sent regards and congratulated cadres, reporters, editors and officers on the day, saying that the agency would further develop, satisfying the demand of listeners./.
