Petrol prices cut by VND310 per litre
Retail petrol prices were cut for the first time in 2015, decreasing by VND310 per litre from 16:30 of January 6th, according to the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex).

After the reduction, petrol RON95 is charged VND18,170 (USD0.85) per litre, while petrol RON92 and bio-fuel E5, a mixture of 95 percent petrol and 5 percent ethanol, cost VND17,570 a litre.
Meanwhile, a litre of diesel and kerosene were cut by VND360 and VND290 to VND16,630 and VND17,110, respectively.
I n2014, petrol prices were increased five times and cut twelve times since July with a total reduction of VND7,769 per litre./.
