PetroVietnam appoints and re-appoints Deputy General Director

The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) on July 4th announced decisions on its key personnel.

Accordingly, PetroVietnam’s Board of Directors decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Quynh Lam, Honorary Deputy General Director and Director of Phu Quoc Petroleum Operating Company (Phu Quoc DOC), as Deputy General Director of PetroVietnam and extend the duration of the office of Mr. Le Minh Hong as Deputy General Director of the group.

In addition, the group agreed to re-appoint two Deputy General Directors, Nguyen Quoc Thap and Nguyen Sinh Khang.

On behalf of PetroVietnam’s leaders, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Chairman of Board of Directors, and General Director Nguyen Vu Truong Son presented the decisions to the Deputy General Directors.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh hoped the Deputy General Directors would continue to devote their efforts and intelligence to complete the assigned tasks; helping the group overcome the difficult period and fulfil the targets and plans set for 2016 and the following years./.
