PM approves more capital for Da Nang city Sustainable Development project
Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved an adjustment of World Bank-funded Da Nang city Sustainable Development project.

Specifically, construction costs increased by USD78.8 million, including USD48.89 million for drainage and wastewater improvement, USD8.54 million for bus rapid transit development and USD20.42 million for urban strategic roads to support DH2 road route.
Other expenses and provisions rose by USD7.34 million.
Total investment cost of the project soared by USD86.185 million, in which loans from International Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the World Bank group increased by USD72.52 million, and reciprocal capital surged by USD13.665 million, balanced and arranged by the Da Nang city People’s Committee in accordance with regulations of the State Budget Law.
The project, scheduled to be completed in 2019, has five components, comprising improvement of drainage and wastewater systems, development of a bus rapid transit system, improvement of urban strategic roads, capacity building for city authorities on urban infrastructure management, and completion of some major infrastructure sub-projects initiated under the Da Nang city Priority Infrastructure Investment Project./.
