Progress made in Ho Chi Minh city’s Party building work

The Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee on June 30^th held a press conference to announce the leadership over the building of the Party, authority and mobilization of people in the first half of this year.

According to Thai Thi Bich Lien, Head of the Office of the city Party Committee, over the past 6 months, there has been progress in carrying out ideological and political work, focusing on the leadership over studying and grasping the city’s 10^th Party Congress and 12^th National Party Congress resolutions.

The city Party Committee has built up an action plan to realise 7 breakthrough programs, creating a consensus inside the Party and among people.

Since its establishment, the hotline of the city Party Committee has received and dealt with 22,108 of 23,791 calls, accounting for 92.92%, mainly on economic issues, urban management, security and social order, and complaints on compensation for resettlement.

The first half of this year also established 19 Party organizations in the non-State sector, admitting 102 members to the Party, bringing the total number of Party members in the city Party Committee to 23,592./.
