Quang Ngai allocates VND120 billion for poverty reduction in mountainous regions
VND120 billion has been spent since 2014 in poverty reduction projects in highland regions of the central province of Quang Ngai, assisting over 1,200 families in 15 mountainous communes escape poverty and improve their living quality.

From the capital, localities have completed 29 village infrastructure constructions with nearly VND21 billion, while 76 livelihood enhancement groups (LEGs) have been developed with nearly VND10 billion, helping thousands of poor families join the development of sustainable livelihood methods.
In 2016 alone, apart from infrastructure constructions linking districts using some VND22 billion, the project is investing VND20 billion in carrying out 137 livelihood projects for the poor, and VND18 billion building village and communal infrastructure./.
