Second congress of Hanoi’s Vietnam – Czech Friendship Association held
Hanoi’s Vietnam – Czech Friendship Association held the second congress for tenure 2019 – 2024. Dr. Sc., Prof. Banh Tien Long, former Deputy Minister of Education and Training was elected as Chairman of the Association.

In this congress, members of the Association reviewed and evaluated activities in the last tenure and also outlined plans and tasks for the next tenure.
Hanoi’s Vietnam – Czech Friendship Association will focus on the main tasks, based on Party’s guidelines and policies and the steering of Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO) and Vietnam – Czech Friendship Association (VCFA) such as: consolidating and amending the Association’s Executive Committee and Standing Committee and participating in activities for peace and friendship, arranged by HAUFO and VCFA.

Besides, the Association and its chapters proactively boosted the friendship, solidarity and mutual understanding between Vietnamese and Czech, as well as promoted image of Vietnamese people, Hanoi and Vietnam’s achievements of integration progress. Moreover, the Association also strengthened exchange activities deeply and broadly.
In the second congress, 35 new members of the Executive Committee was elected for tenure 2019 – 2024. Dr. Sc., Prof. Banh Tien Long, former Deputy Minister of Education and Training became the new chairman of the Association and A. Prof., Dr. To Duy Phuong, senior researcher of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology was elected as Vice Chairman cum General Secretary of the Association.
